Julia Valeeva is an artist and designer who moved from Moscow to Serbia and currently resides in the city of Novi Sad. For over ten years, Julia has been working in graphic design while simultaneously expanding her horizons in various artistic techniques, including graphic art, collage, oil pastel, and linocut. She creates paintings and posters for interiors, drawing inspiration from the diversity of nature, the richness of different cultures, and the magic of fairy tale motifs. In 2013, Julia graduated from the Moscow State University of Design and Technology, Faculty of Fine Arts and Folk Crafts, with a degree in “Environmental Design.” In 2008, Julia participated in an exhibition of works by students from plein air practice in Cetona (Italy). In 2024, Julia took part in a contemporary art exhibition with the project “Personal Altar” (a series of linocuts) at the Dorcol Cultural Center in Belgrade (Serbia) and collaborated with Zlato Beauty salon at the grand opening in Belgrade (Serbia).
